Goshawks from new fresh imported Buteoides and Buteoides x Albidus lines

I breed pure Buteoides and Buteoides x Albidus, Buteoides x Finnish, Buteoides x Albidus x Finnish, German x Finnish and Finnish birds. Imprinted or Parent reared birds and all of my breeding birds have been hunted hard before being entered into breeding penns! all have made excellent hunting birds regardless of size or mixture.

2009 see's a very large investment into my stable's and i have imported fresh new lines from germany in the form of buteodes and buteodes x albidus birds, Katrina and Sophie are my new females (Sophie being a white morph) and Bruno a white gene carrying Albidus x Buteoides male. Tyson is a finnish male and will be put through the german x finnish females i have here. In 2010 i hope to import some more females that will be unrelated and new lines. i have some hard work to do and some more penns to build, but it shall be all worth it in the end to produce some fresh genetically clean birds for the uk austringers.

THIS IS THE SOLE AIM OF MY PROJECT TO PRODUCE FROM FRESH LINES INTRODUCED FROM OVERSEA'S WITH MY ORINGINAL STOCK BIRDS AND TO ALSO MAKE CLEAN UNRELATED LINES. THEY VARY ON THE AMOUNT OF ALBIDUS AND BUTEOIDES IN THEM AND ARE OF DECENT SIZES AND COLOURS, BRUNO BEING WELL PROVEN IN THE FIELD AND FLOWN TAKING GAME AT OVER 2LB 4OZ REGULARLY ON SOME OCCASIONS HE WAS FLOWN AT AROUND THE 2LB 6OZ MARK ALSO BEING SUCCESFULLY KILLING AT THAT WEIGHT.

i have been flying birds since a young teenager and have flown redtails kestrels buzzards and Harris hawks but always wanting a goshawk but didn't have enough time to commit 5 days a week flying time that i felt was needed to do one justice, eventually circumstances changed and in 1999 i acquired my first goshawk which i chose to imprint, i don't know why i chose to imprint i just felt i could understand them better for some reason, 10 years on i have a good stock built up over the years from my flying birds of all mixtures of subspecies which have all been flown hard by me. i choose my birds for breeding based on their hunting ability and their nature. i try to provide quality rather than quantity birds. In my quest to breed birds that i can be proud of being my hunting partner.

i do not take deposits until the youngsters are here, i have a list of names that you can go on and i will call you when the bird that you require is here, healthy and either ready to go as an imprint or being reared by the mother in an enclosed aviary. what i ask of you is that firstly you are experienced enough to handle a goshawk and can give me proof of that in any of our conversations that we have, and that the hawk if ever not required anymore is firstly offered back to me and not just put in the local adverts in your local rag. My reason for this is you want me to guarantee a quality bird for you, and i want to guarantee a quality austringer for my bird, it really is that simple.

Below a German x Finnish bird flown by a close mate of mine, This german x Finnish bird is a great hunter and flew both fur and feather and was abit of a mass murderer on the Brown hares. She Hunts at 2lb 6oz parent reared and has been flown on all types of game.

My Working Cocker spaniels

I have two cocker bitches one black in colour and one chocolate in colour i breed both bitches and both are from very very good working lines, Bree has just been mated across timsgarry simpson from simon tyers stock and a grandson to Black Mamba, simpson is a 2006 field trial champion, he has been run in the england squad may times and competed in 2006 to 2009 cocker championships, he also sired the 2009 cocker championship winner. The pups produced from these 2 will be from the best lines and have all the hunting potential that you could want, along with a good upbringing from the start.

Jay is due to come into season later this year and will be mated again from simons lines.
